Al’s Oasis is a fun place to stop on your journey. There is plenty of RV parking in their parking lot and in their lot across the street.
They are used to handling large crowds. One tourist bus was getting ready to leave as another arrived as we were walking into the facility. We went to the restaurant and got in line. The person in charge of the tour pulled us aside and put us in front of their group. They had started seating some of their group before they seated us; which was only a couple of minutes. We sat near the front of the restaurant and we didn’t even know that the tour group was in the restaurant. The French Dip was delicious. The meat was tender and the au jus tasted homemade. I ordered the Turkey Noodle Soup as my side and it was a bit salty but had a fabulous flavor. My husband had the Fish and Chips and was not impressed. He actually had to use a napkin to absorb the grease that was still on the fish. Our waitress was very good, she kept checking to see if we needed anything and kept our drinks full.
There is a gift shop that has a huge variety of items for sale. Next to the gift shop is a small grocery store if you need to refill the pantry or the refrigerator. They also have a gas station and a campground available.
